Live In House Manager / Driver - Weybridge, Surrey

This International family are seeking a formal and experienced Live In House Manager, to oversee the day to day running and operations of this high end mid size property, along with look after the families needs when in residence, including F&B service.

The role also requires a driver who can chauffeur the family in and around London, therefore have excellent knowledge of London roads, quickest routes etc., and be on standby to return the family safely home.

Responsibilities of the role includes, but not limited to:

  • Administration and budget control, producing monthly budgets and account reporting.

  • Revising inventory of the house contents; adding new items, recording movement.

  • Managing and hiring staff, rotas, holidays/time in lieu, cleaning schedule, training as needed.

  • Reviewing/Sourcing maintenance contracts and coordinating schedule with contractors, reviewing reports and booking recommended works.

  • Managing utility bills, liaising with utility providers, submitting readings.

  • Arranging house supplies, checking stock, food shopping, ordering.

  • Putting together annual budget, and send monthly accounts records to relevant people.

  • Provide F&B Service, table dressing and layout, when entertaining 

  • Offer Valet services, packing, unpacking in conjunction with Housekeeper

  • Must have experience driving in, and good knowledge of, London and Greater London roads and routes.

  • Responsible for the upkeep and general maintenance of the car clean, service, repairs, insurances, tax etc

 Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience as a House Manager

  • Formal Training/Butler school would be advantageous, but not a prerequisite

  • Must have recent and checkable references, and proven longevity in previous roles

  • Current DBS and Right to Work in UK

Hours/Package:

  • Hours 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday however required to work longer hours when family are in residence, including occasional weekends.

  • Beautiful modern studio with own entrance onsite (single dwelling only)

  • Salary £60,000 gross pa DOE, statutory entitlements plus pension

  • Start June 2024
