Driver / Handyman - Dorset, UK

Our client is seeking an experience professional Driver with experience working for UHNW families, providing driving skills to interact with Principals business associates and visitors, collecting from station, running errands, deliveries, collection of documents from one office to another etc, but to also offer general household maintenance skills about the house. The role is likely to be split 30% driving / 70% household tasks.

The ideal candidate will live on or around the South West region with own vehicle. The role would suit an individual with no ties and/or who can be flexible to stay overnight at other properties during the week perhaps 2/3 nites a week in school holidays etc. However the main day to day base is Dorset so you would ideally need to live within this region.

You will have recent experience working for private employer/s and present with clear English - written & oral - and excellent communication and good online skills, be of smart appearance, calm and an innate understanding of manners and protocols. Must also be dog friendly.

Reporting directly to the Principal and interaction with the Family Office, you will have a ‘can do’ and ‘flexible’ outlook able to work alongside a team of household staff, external contractors and suppliers, etc.

Must also be happy to undertake Security Clearances and sign an NDA, as discretion and confidentiality utmost for this family. Must also have clean driving licence and DBS clearance, and enjoy being on the road.

Hours/Days: 45 hour week / 5 days a week and mostly Monday to Friday, however need flexibility for weekends if necessary with 2 days off during the week (very rare). Upto £45,000 gross pa DOE neg, plus discretionary bonus. Start ASAP. Interviews now. Email your interest to cv@ljwrecruitment.com
