Daily Housekeeper / Laundress - Mayfair, London

Our international client is seeking a Bilingual Russian/English speaking Daily Housekeeper with excellent laundry / wardrobe management skills, to join a fully staffed and formally run large London property.

The family consists of the main Principals, 5 children and a couple of small dogs, so a child and dog friendly professional Housekeeper is very important.

This Housekeeper will join a small domestic team, ideally working across 5 days, working Wednesday - Sunday rota with 2 days off Monday/Tuesday (this may be negotiable to work every 2nd weekend).

You will be highly experienced having worked in a UHNW household / luxury property, and used to cleaning to 5* standards. The Housekeeper will be confident, extremely reliable, trustworthy, and energetic with an eye for details, and strong cleaning skills and product knowledge working with high end fine furnishings and fixtures etc.

Must have good laundry skills to look after the Master bedrooms, family clothes and organise wardrobes, and pack suitcases for travel and be able to travel with family 2-3 times a year would be a plus, but not a necessity.

You will also have good social skills and be confident to greet guests, provide table service skills, when Principal entertaining or for meetings in the house etc.

The Housekeeper rota is long hours, morning through to evening, when family are in residence and lesser hours when they are on vacation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and longevity in previous roles with checkable references

  • Proactive, self-starter and team player

  • Good level of spoken English & Russian

  • Pet friendly (the family has dogs and a reptile pet for the children)

  • Legal right to work in UK and proof of Passport / Settlement Status

  • Must live in a commutable distance to Mayfair London Zone 1 - 5

Salary/benefits:

  • £45,000 gross pa neg

  • Statutory holiday entitlements and pension contributions

  • Taxi home provided when finishing late in the evening

Must have current DBS or happy to apply, recent and checkable housekeeping references in London with similar household, and right to work status in UK
