Nanny / Housekeeper - Liverpool (6-9 mth temp contract)

This lovely family are seeking an experienced Self Employed Nanny/Housekeeper to care for 3 children – 2 girls aged 4 & 8 yo, and 1 year old boy, in Hightown Merseyside.

The current nanny will be on Maternity leave from early March 2025, therefore looking for a 6 month committed temp contract, with the option to roll month by month for a further 3 months, should the Nanny not be ready to return.

Seeking a kind friendly reliable and energetic Nanny, who is fun to be around with excellent childcare experience with young children; a Nanny who can entertain, organise games, help with reading, creative activities etc along with organise housekeeping ie make beds, laundry, vacuum, food shopping, prep food for the girls, general errands etc.

Both girls are at school, therefore requires a driver for school drop offs, pick up, drive to and from activities etc.  Mum and Dad are both working parents, and will be involved with the children, where work and time permits.

Must be happy to sign an NDA as utmost discretion and confidentiality is required.

Requirements:

  1. Good communication skills - written and oral

  2. Right to work in UK / Passport

  3. Recent and checkable childcare references

  4. Current driving licence with experience in driving children in the UK

  5. Ideally first aid qualified

  6. Enhanced DBS

  7. Registered Self Employed

Hours:

Approx 32 hours per week with your working week as follows, with some flexibility on this:

  1. Long day - Tuesday & Wednesday (18 hours combined total)

  2. Short day - Monday & Thursday (10 hours combined total)

  3. Babysitting once a month on weekend which would make up the paid and remaining hours of 32 hours per week.

Salary

  1. Salary approx. £20+ p/hr neg self employed / Approx 32 hours per week

  2. 6 month rolling Contract & Petrol allowance if using own vehicle

  3. Start March 2025 – Interviews in January.
