Our international client is seeking a Deputy House Manager, expected to manage a large number of staff to ensure the day to day running of a premier private property.
The Deputy House Manager is expected to work with the other members of the management team to deliver the highest levels of service to the Principals. The role is hands on and the expectation is to lead by example if appropriate to the situation. The Deputy House Manager will be a member of the management team reporting directly to the House Manager and Head of Estates, and expected to have extensive experience.
The Deputy House Manager is expected to have worked at the highest level of service either within the hotel industry or private house for UHNWI. The Deputy House Manager is expected to work in partnership with the other members of the management team to deliver the highest level of service, cleanliness and house performance. It is expected that the Deputy House Manager will train, support and enhance the knowledge and skills of their team, to help develop the staff and encourage them to deliver even higher standards. Qualifications such as diplomas, NVQ’s , SVQ’s or hospitality management qualifications are preferable.
Preferred Skills: IT literate to include Excel / Performance Management and Training experience / Health & Safety qualifications, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent / Risk Assessments and Method Statements / Additional languages useful.
This is a demanding and high pressure role running a private property at 7* level. This role would best suit someone who is at the very top of their discipline and wants to take themselves and their team to the next level.
