Our clients are looking for a chef to work the summer season, close to Pietrasanta in Tuscany, from mid-June to the end of August.
The primary requirement is to locate a chef that can prepare tasty, well-cooked & presented, accomplished Italian and Mediterranean styled dishes; some knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
The family really enjoy dishes made from the freshest locally sourced ingredients and expect the chef to be able to cook authentic Italian regional dishes, including homemade: breads, pasta, bakery products and ice-creams without resorting to packets, cans, bottles, jars or premade sauces purchased from the local delicatessen!
The chef will be required to work 6 days a week, cooking lunch and dinner for 4-6 people. Lunch is generally served 1-2pm. Dinner is generally served 7-9pm. The family will occasionally host informal styled dinners or a BBQ, when the maximum number might be 12 people
A housekeeper will be employed, but it is noted that the chef will also be required to help with washing up the tableware, and helping with the general clearing-up after each meal
Applicants should be professional career motivated chefs, able to show real passion for their trade, excellent experience and hold checkable references. A valid background check will also be required.
The salary offered is 3.5 – 4K euros per month D.O.E. Self-contained accommodation can be provided if required, in the town. Email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org
